ODD//DEPT RETURN TO HEADQUARTERS
OFFICIAL-ISH DOCUMENT / COMMUNITY TERMS

THE RULES OF WEIRD.

LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 16, 2026 · DOCUMENT SERIES 001

01 / OPERATOR AND NATURE OF SERVICE

ODD//DEPT is operated by Syndicate Hub LLC (company website: https://syndicate-hub.com; contact: syndicatehubllc@gmail.com). ODD//DEPT is an entertainment and social curiosity platform, not a real government department, law-enforcement service, emergency reporting service, scientific verification service, or source of professional advice. Our “mysteries,” badges, reports, and classifications are playful.

Accounts are for people aged 18 or older. Registration requires an age self-declaration; no date of birth is collected. A checkbox is not independent proof of age. Do not register if you are under 18. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we may suspend and delete the account.

02 / YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SUBMISSIONS

Submit observations that are yours to share. Do not publish another person's private information, unauthorized photos, confidential details, copyrighted content you have no right to use, misleading emergency claims, spam, threats, hate, or harassment. Keep your login credentials private. Account holders are responsible for activity through their accounts.

03 / NO DANGEROUS MISSIONS

Field assignments are optional and should be performed safely in ordinary, lawful settings. Do not trespass, drive distracted, confront strangers, undertake dangerous stunts, or enter restricted places. Never prioritize an app challenge over your own or others' safety. For real emergencies, use local emergency services.

04 / LICENSE TO DISPLAY PUBLIC POSTS

You retain ownership of your original submissions. By making a public report, you give the service a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that submission for operating the community and its normal share features, for as long as it remains on the platform or reasonably needed for technical backups and compliance. You may delete your own reports through the File Cabinet, subject to copies others independently made.

05 / MODERATION AND APPEALS

Anyone may view the public archive. Logged-in adults may submit and react to reports, bookmark case files, and report inappropriate cases. Initial submissions are placed into a review queue; subsequent submissions may still be held for manual review. Privacy and danger flags may temporarily hide a public report immediately, while other unique reports may also trigger review. We may review, classify, restrict, or remove content and suspend accounts for abuse. We do not promise that automated filters catch everything or guarantee a review time.

To request reconsideration of a held or removed case, use Department Support and select Content Appeal. Include your case number and why you believe the decision was mistaken. We review appeals when operational capacity allows. Filing an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement.

06 / RELIABILITY, CONTENT & BETA STATUS

The beta is provided as available. Content is user generated, may be inaccurate or fictional, and is not independently verified. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, virality, rewards of monetary value, or a particular result from participating. Features can change or be discontinued.

07 / YOUR ACCOUNT AND DATA

Do not impersonate others or use automation, multiple accounts, or coordinated activity to flood voting, reporting, or the archive. The app enforces activity limits, and an abuse report does not imply a finding of misconduct. Your saved cases are private to your account; public case content can still be shared by other users. You may close your account under Settings. See the Privacy Notice for personal information handling.

08 / HELP AND COPYRIGHT ISSUES

If material violates your rights or presents a safety concern, use the Department Support form and choose the relevant subject. The Copyright & Removals policy outlines notices, counter-notices, repeat infringements, and privacy removal requests. This beta accepts text submissions only, not uploads of other people's photographs. A separate legal agent designation and other operator-specific formalities may be required by applicable law.

09 / CHANGES & CONTACT

These are beta terms dated October 16, 2026, updated with the operator identity. Syndicate Hub LLC may revise them as the project develops. Continued use after a posted update may be subject to updated terms as allowed by applicable law. Questions can be sent to syndicatehubllc@gmail.com. Additional jurisdiction-specific legal terms may be necessary before a large-scale commercial rollout.
